The Ravensberger Schmierstoffvertrieb GmbH is a leading manufacturer of marine oils and lubricants, and is official supplier to the well-renowned Maltese powerboat manufacturer, Chaudron.
RAVENOL Outboard Oil, using specially selected base oils and additives, is formulated specifically for marine use and has improved the quality and reliability of many tuned outboard engines.
These products have brought the RAVENOL brand to a wide audience across the world, and since 2006 Ravensberger Schmierstoffvertrieb GmbH has been technical partner to Andre Schürle and his Team Germany Racing, who race boats successfully on inland waterways in Europe, Central America and the Far East. In this series, the team was Formula 2 European Champion 2007.
In Formula Mercury (formerly Formula 4), Team Germany Racing, with driver Stefan Hagin, dominated the 2009 World Cup.
In addition to Team Germany Racing, who are the only professional powerboat racing team in Germany, RAVENOL is involved with more than 20 international teams in the marine Formula 1 World Championship.
The close partnership with Team Germany Racing allows RAVENOL to test products under the most extreme racing conditions, and to manufacture lubricants that far exceed the latest requirements of modern marine engines.
